Trenchcoat's and Knee High Boots...

is the way to go on rainy days. At least for me it is. 

Well this weather has been all over the place. We go from beautiful hot 90's to low 60's with rain. Not to mention the wind that only brings out my allergies. But I am not complaining because I much prefer this weather than cold winter days.

Before the storm...

the snow storm. I was able to take a few shots last week before the weather change. Let me tell you, it was COLD!!!! 

I am ready for spring. I look at my shoes and I feel so bad for majority of them because I cannot wear them. I sometimes look at blogs and these bloggers have almost nothing on in snow! I don't know how they are able to do such thing. I am cold just typing about it. 

Anyways, the only good thing about the cold and snow is that I able to bring out the fur items. Which don't get a lot of use. I guess there's one positive thing about the snow...

a very cold...

and dark day. By dark, I mean the dark shades of clothing I chose to wore today and the dark lipstick.

I am usually a bright clothes kind of person, even during winter. But lately I've been choosing dark colors over bright colors. Guess mother nature is winning again and forcing me to wear dark warm clothes.

My Peplum craze...

hasn't died yet. Who would've thought that women everywhere will go crazy over something that ruffles around the waistline? Majority of us try to avoid highlighting that area. After peplum items hit the runways, we went peplum crazy. And I admit, I am one of those who has gone peplum crazy.

I bought this BB Dakota dress a year ago but I was never able to wear it because I bought it online and I bought it a size 4 thinking it will fit me since everyone was saying it runs small. I was wrong! It was so big on me that I had to get it tailored. So finally after a year of sitting in my closet, I decided to take it in. and I am so happy I did. This dress is one of the most comfortable dresses I have ever worn. And since it still feels like summer, its perfect for the weather.

a classy....

kind of day.

Today I decided to wear this DVF dress that I got for a GREAT deal two years ago (I believe it was two years ago). I am obsessed with DVF. I love how its always so classic but yet so chic and trendy. I also love that I can wear DVF for both work and going out. It's perfect for a day to night look.

A day in the life of Barney....

One of the most exciting things happened to me yesterday. If you follow me on twitter and instragram, I usually have a "Shoe of the Day" which includes a picture of the shoes I am wearing that day. Well yesterday, I decided I was channeling Barney and wear all purple. Decided to wear my Rachel Zoe shoes I bought last year and tweeted the picture. Little did I know Rachel Zoe herself was going to tweet me about my shoes. Loving Rachel, I went crazy!!!!! Just a simple tweet made my entire week! Hahaha. Thank god for social media, we are now able to talk to those we admire (celebrity wise).

now back to reality aka work....
