Shoe Organization...

Wednesday, May 29, 2013

Well many of you know that I am BIG shoe lover. I admit I must have over 300 pairs of shoes both designer and non-designer shoes. I don’t discriminate; I love all kinds and brands of shoes. Well my collection has outgrown my space and now I am trying to come up with ideas on how to store them. I have some on my bookshelf, as well as nightstand, side tables etc. I like to display my shoes because I honestly think they are pieces of art.

Since I have outgrown my space, I’ve been looking online on ideas. And I have seen many but the following pictures are just incredible. Some of these girls have rooms filled with shoes. Sadly, I don’t have a spare room I can use as walk-in closet for my shoes. But it’s always fun to look at what other girls have done and also dream of what I would do and how I would set up if I was able to do have a walk-in. A girl can dream right?

If you’re a big shoe lover, I am sure you are going to enjoy the following pictures. If you have any ideas or want to let me know how you organize your shoes, comment below! Enjoy!

The weekend is...

Friday, May 17, 2013

Officially here, and we should all head out to the country club!

What better way to start off the weekend by having wonderful weather like the one I am currently enjoying where I live. I went from complaining it was too hot on Monday, to loving the weather by the end of the week. Where’s my drink!? Hahaha

Since it’s warm enough to wear light clothing but gets a little chilly after 5p.m., I decided to wear pants. I am not really a pants kind of gal, but I do wear them because I easily get cold. I bought these H/M Pants a couple of years back, and although you can’t really see the details, they are floral. (“Flowers for spring, groundbreaking!” From which movie is this quote from?). I know many can be intimidated by prints on pants, especially if you are older than 21, but there are many pants that women of all ages can wear. Just stick with prints that are subtle. Don’t go for those crazy leopard prints that scream “I took these from my teenage sister or daughter”.

Well hope you have a wonderful weekend. Whatever you decided to do, please be careful and stay safe!

Lisa

Indian Summer....

Wednesday, October 3, 2012

has really hit us this year and I am enjoying every moment of it. While in most places it is starting to cool down, where I live it still feels like summer. I am not a sweater kind of gal and I am easily cold, so this heat wave has been delightful for me. There are so many bloggers already wearing sweaters, scrarves and warm outfits while I am here wearing the lightest dress I can possibly find.

I must admit, its been a challenge trying to find outfits that are appropriate for work but cool enough for this weather. I know all good things come to and end sooner or later, so please don't mind me and my light summer like outfits.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Lisa

kind of day.

Today I decided to wear this DVF dress that I got for a GREAT deal two years ago (I believe it was two years ago). I am obsessed with DVF. I love how its always so classic but yet so chic and trendy. I also love that I can wear DVF for both work and going out. It's perfect for a day to night look.

Hope you are all having a wonderful summer. I finally finished my summer semester and I have two weeks before I start fall semester, so you are definitely going to see more outfit post these next two weeks. Take Care!

Batter Up!

Sunday, July 29, 2012

As many of you know, I am huge sports fan, so much I am working on becoming a sportscaster (Please don't say "Like Erin Andrews?", I don't like to be associated with her. EKK!). There is not a day in my life where I don't talk about sports. This is all due to my father and brother who used to make me watch games and take me to games. On Sundays, I have this thing called "Jersey Sundays", where I wear my favorite jerseys or favorite team gear. I know many will not associate fashion with sports but I am trying to incorporate both of my loves together. Although I love sports, I also love fashion and girly things.

Friday is casual day at work, so I put on my "boyfriend" jeans, a tank, my heels, and my Dodgers hat (removed the hat while at work). I loved it! It was one of the most comfortable outfits I have ever worn to work. I am definitely going to try to combine both of my loves more often. What are two things you cant live without?

Lisa
