my two loves: Fashion and Sports!

Some of you might know that I love sports! I am the type of girl who screams, cheers and yells like a guy at a bar when his team is playing. I am not like those girls who hate sports or only like it because of their significant other. I LOVE Sports! I love football, baseball, hockey, and basketball. I even have my “Jersey Sundays” which means, I wear one of my favorite team’s jersey or shirt and I put my hair in a bun and out the door! Kind of like how I am wearing it here in these pictures. But don’t think I do this all the time. Sometimes, I just lay around my home with a big jersey on and snack on junk food and drink beer.

Many believe that sports gear is not fashionable at all. And sure, they might not be nicest and fashion forward but there are ways to make it look cute. But you have to admit, sports gear got a lot better through out the years especially for women!

I am definitely going to do more post like this because I want to show and maybe inspire those girls who do like to wear sports gear how to make them look a lot more girly and fashionable than just wearing it plain.

Today I paired my Chicago Bears shirt from Victoria Secret Pink Collection with a fur vest, jeans and some booties. Weather is definitely getting chillier so I am now able to wear my fur items. How exciting! Like I said before, I will post more of these posts in the future. If you do like sports, let me know how you combine your sports gear with fashion.

Hope you are enjoying your day!

Lisa

Lollapalooza Day Two...

Thursday, August 22, 2013

Day Two was Amazing! Not only was the weather BEAUTIFUL (Yes, Chicago can have beautiful weather at times, Haha) but the best performance (In my opinion) happened that night, and that of course goes to The Lumineers. I still cant get over how great they sounded and how they interacted with such a huge crowd. Many of the members decided to sing and play with the crowd. Yes, they walked into the crowd and continued the show from the crowd!!! From all the shows at Lollapalooza, The Lumineers was the best show!

But don't worry, the other bands were great too. We checked out Charles Bradley, Matt and Kim, Ellie Goulding, The National, Lumineers, Mumford and Sons, and of course The Postal Service which was their last show ever and I am so glad I was able to catch them. They also did a GREAT job!

Below are the pictures of Day Two. I am going to go back and re-watch my videos I took. Some of the pictures are not so clear since I was dancing around while trying to take a picture with my camera and phone. ;)

Lollapalooza Day One...

Tuesday, August 20, 2013

If you follow me on Twitter or Instragram, you would know that I went to Lollapalooza. For those of you who don’t follow me, I suggest you stop reading this and go follow me. ;) But come back and read this entry.

In case you don’t know what Lollapalooza is, it’s a music festival held in Chicago for 3 days. I like to call it, the Midwest Coachella. It’s held at Grant Park every year and lately the lineups have been great. This year the lineup included The Cure, Mumford and Sons, Phoenix, The Killers, The Lumineers, and many more amazing bands.

I went with my friend Gaby and had a blast. The first day, we actually slept in and got there a little late. Perhaps the rain and clouds didn’t help with our jet lagged but we were able to catch Imagine Dragons, New Order and of course The Killers. They were all great and we were able to dance around, and try to avoid the mud as much as possible, which let me tell you, it was a mission to do.

Below are the pictures of Day One. I will be uploading pictures of the others days as well. Enjoy!

Lisa
